0 Tolerance Throat Plates - The plates do what they were designed to do. Because they are made of plastic they do allow a minimal amount of flex. This could present a minor problem if you are working with really small pieces. Like the plate that came with the saw, these also need to be shimmed to match the saw s deck height.
